Troy has been working with horses for most of his life. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, he has struggled with finding safe environments in which he felt free to be himself and work with horses in a kind and effective way. So, in 2019, he began searching for a way to create that himself. With the help of the incredible owners of Immortal Farms, in 2020 that dream became a reality. Troy has experience riding in training in many styles, and uses a base of natural horsemanship to help students branch out into whatever direction they want to go. Troy’s day job is that of a teacher for high-needs children and teens, which has given him the skills needed to teach horseback riding to people of all ages from all walks of life.
